Step 1

Preheat oven to 140°C fan forced.

Step 2

Combine cola, sugar, garlic, onion, soy & lemon juice in a bowl.

Step 3

Arrange chicken wings in a single layer in a deep oven tray and pour over cola mixture.

Step 4

Bake for 3-3.5 hours or until sauce is thick and very sticky.

No special items needed.



I used drumsticks instead of wings. Pulled the skin off a few of them just to see how they would turn out. The ones with skin turned out moister, but both were delicious. And the house smelled wonderful while they were cooking. :) Made for Pick Me Tag. Thanks for sharing!

These did not turn out as expected, good but not great. We cooked for the full 3.5 hours and they had not even started to look done. Boosted the temp by 50° and let cook for another hour, The taste was a little to sweet for us but OK! Ate left overs today and there was great improvement in flavor. Thanks for posting this recipe!

I doubled the amount of soy sauce because I wanted a bit more saltiness but followed the recipe accordingly and this turned out perfectly delicious!! Thx for sharing this recipe here :-)
