Step by Step Method
Step 1
Combine water, coconut milk, sugar, and salt in heavy large saucepan.
Step 2
Bring to simmer, then stir in rice.
Step 3
Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer 12 minutes.
Step 4
Keep covered, remove from the heat and let stand 10 minutes.
Step 5
Transfer rice to bowl and sprinkle with toasted coconut.
