Step by Step Method

Step 1

Wash grapes, remove stems, dry completely with paper towel. Place in a single layer on a tray; freeze for 2 hours or up to 48 hours.

Step 2

About 5 minutes before serving, place chocolate ships and milk in smallmicowavable cup, microwave on high 20 seconds, stir until cocolate is melted. Microwave additonal 10 seconds if necessary or until it is melted and smooth.

Step 3

Remove grapes from freezer, divide evenly between 2 dessert dishes, sprinkle grapes with powdered surag and drizzle melted chocolate ove grapes, serve immediately.

Step 4

NOTE: to drizzle chocolate, place melted chocolate mixture in a resealable plastic food bag, snip corner of bag and squeeze chocolate over grapes.

Really lovely lite dessert! I always have frozen grapes on hand, so had to try this! I also had some leftover melted chocolate mixed with a little coconut oil that I just had to re-melt on my double boiler. I used the bag tip, but think this would actually be easier and excellent dipped like you do bananas! I also added some thin sliced frozen pineapple for a nice combo. My 3 year old Max loved everything about this! Made for the Shoot Me Please! photo event. Freddy Cat says thanks for the fruit!
