"Found at the site & the original source was not entirely clear. The intro simply said "Want your weekly chocolate fix but w/o the guilt? Well fear not, because Tom Walton's chocolate avocado mousse is a healthy alternative that will surely please your inner sweet tooth." So it appears I can be grateful to TOM WALTON for adding to my collection of avocado recipes. Dinner party meals in Iceland are often heavier than they should be, but dessert is still considered to be a host obligation. So I try to target lighter desserts that still impress & this recipe meets all my goals. It's light, healthy, no-cook & an easy make-ahead fix. Times were not given, but were estimated by me & do not include the 30 min chill time. ENJOY!"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place the banana, avocado, nut butter, cacao powder, coconut milk & a pinch of salt in a blender & whiz until smooth. Pour into a shallow serving dish (or 4 sml individual serving dishes) & chill for 30 min or until set. Can be served w/a dollop of whipped cream, scattered chocolate shavings or sml red berries as optional garnishes.
