Step 1

In a saucepan, melt butter. Whisk in the flour, salt and pepper. Add chicken broth and milk or cream all at once, and cook and stir until bubbly and thickened.

Step 2

Stir in the chicken, mushrooms, and bell pepper. Heat through. Serve over hot rice or noodles

A delicious recipe that is quick and easy to make. I used fresh mushrooms, added a splash of white wine to the mix, and served it over buttered noodles. Yum! I will be making this again. Thanks for posting your recipe, CatCora!
