"I find a lot of Chinese take-out places in our area over sauce their stir-fry. There is just too much of it. I came up with a recipe where you taste every individual item instead of just the sauce “sauce”."

Step 1

Heat up 2 tablespoons oil in a wok.

Step 2

When hot, add chicken, 1 minced clove garlic and 1/2 teaspoon ginger ginger; cook through, remove chicken and set aside.

Step 3

Clean pan and add 2 tablespoons oil and add asparagus, 1 minced clove garlic and 1/2 teaspoon ginger, cook for 2 minutes.

Step 4

Add onion and mushrooms and cook until veggies are just done.

Step 5

Add the oyster sauce and sesame seeds.

Step 6

Serve.
