"Another toasted bread recipe; not exactly healthy - but, oh so good. Great for a dinner party. Andy, very easy to prepare. Who doesn't like 'ooey gooey' cheese. You can prepare the bread; wrap in saran wrap, then foil. Make sure to put in a plastic bag; and it will last up to 3 months. Simply thaw, and cook as directed."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Topping ... In a bowl, add the softened butter, garlic, and red pepper flakes; then, mix to combine. Next, add in the cheeses, mayo, sour cream, and scallions; and, make sure that everything is well combined.
Step 2
Bread and Bake ... Note, I like to use a full size loaf of bread; but, if you can only find 1/2 loafs; you may need to use 2 loafs. Then, slice the loaf of bread in half horizontally. Spread the cheese mixture over the cut surface of the bread, sprinkle with a little paprika; then, lay on a sheet pan, lined with foil or parchment paper, for easy clean up. Broil in your oven for 5-8 minutes on the second-third shelf down, until golden brown and bubbly. This can vary on your type of oven. Five (5) minutes on my second shelf, is what works best for me. You want the shelf down low enough, so the bread doesn't burn.
Step 3
Serve and ENJOY! ... Let the bread rest a couple of minutes, then slice up, and garnish with parsley. This bread goes so well with just about anything. It probably isn't calorie friendly; so, I don't make this too often - but, it sure is a crowd pleaser!
