Step by Step Method
Step 1
Butter Sauce ... Add the butter, mustard, lemon juice, garlic and onion powder, celery salt, and a pinch of pepper to a small bowl or measuring cup. Microwave on medium heat for 30 seconds to 1 minute until the butter is melted.
Step 2
Bread ... Cut the bread across the top diagonally in 1" intervals. Then go across in the opposite direction creating a diamond pattern. Make sure to cut down to 1/2" off the bottom. Set the bread on a baking sheet, on two sheets of foil, so you can completely wrap the bread up.
Step 3
Cheese and Butter Sauce ... Cut the cheese up in smaller pieces so they will fit in between the cuts; and, stuff it all in between those cuts in the bread. Then, drizzle the melted butter sauce over the bread in all those cuts. Try to get as much as you can in the bread, rather than dripping off the top.
Step 4
Wrap and Bake ... Wrap up the bread in the foil, and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven. Bake on the middle shelf for 15 minutes; then, unwrap, and bake an additional 10 minutes until the bread crisps up, and the cheese is melted.
Step 5
Serve and ENJOY! ... Cheesy, ooey, goodness!
