Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cream shortening and sugars together. Add eggs; beat until fluffy.

Carefully fold in rice puffs cereal.
Step 5
Shape into balls 1-1/2 inches in diameter.

Cookies will flatten while baking.

Place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet.

Bake in moderate 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 12 minutes until lightly browned.
Step 9
Remove at once from baking sheet to a cooling rack.

Don't store cookies until completely cool.
