"I haven’t made these yet but they sound delicious. The recipe calls for 8 ounces of cheese but you may want to double it. Or add bacon"

We really enjoyed this recipe. The potatoes were so flavorful with the caramelized onions and all that mozzarella cheese. The bottom layer of potatoes were over a little bit over-cooked on the bottom, so next time I make this recipe, I think I'll skip the step of stovetop cooking for 7 minutes and just proceed to the next step of 30 minutes of oven baking. But the cheesy potatoes were so good. Thanks for another great recipe, Marra.

I made this for breakfast with bacon and a fried egg. This dish is good combination of flavors. I didn't understand the instructions clearly and I wound up overcooking the potatoes which made the bottom very hard. My bad.

Mmm Mmm Good! Just made a half recipe in a little cast iron skillet, 8 inches I think. Don't think I'll ever make scalloped potatoes again, as this recipe is so good and so easy to make! Followed the recipe exactly, and I can imagine using different cheeses as well (gouda or muenster sound like good possibilities. What I love best about this recipe is that it's so simple, and I can now make this from memory. We especially liked how the potatoes and cheese browned up in the cast iron pan. Can't wait to make these again!

Fabulous potatoes! I used my mandolin and this recipe came together very quickly. Loved how the cheese browned up. DH was in heaven. : )

These were really good. I especially liked the mozzarella on these instead of the standard cheddar since mozzarella is one of my favorite cheeses. Thanks for sharing this nice keeper, Marra.
