"Here is a great side dish that pairs well with many dishes. It's a nice change from plain rice. The carrots sweeten the rice, and make it extra tasty. It's one you can make often, since you probably have the ingredients on hand most of the time. Step by Step Method

In a large skillet, saute carrots and onion in butter, until tender.

Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover, and simmer until rice is tender.
