Carrot Rice Pilaf

"Here is a great side dish that pairs well with many dishes. It's a nice change from plain rice. The carrots sweeten the rice, and make it extra tasty. It's one you can make often, since you probably have the ingredients on hand most of the time. PLEASE NOTE: The time it takes to cook the rice depends on the kind of rice you make, so look on the back of the rice package/box to see how long your rice takes."

This is an excellent pilaf that I will make many more times. It would go so well with so many things. We truly loved everything about this rice!

This rice sure was yummy. I love the addition of the lemon pepper, it gave it such a nice flavor. I added some Thai basil that I have growing and loved how it melded with the carrots and the jasmin rice I used. This one will be made again Linday. Thank you for sharing.

What an easy way to perk up rice. I used long-grain brown rice and adjusted the cooking time accordingly. We will be having this again for sure.

Great rice dish! I probably used more carrots than called for - used 3 carrots shredded in a food processor. We enjoyed this dish as a side with fish. Thanks for sharing!

Lovely Tasty Rice! I used chicken bouillon and Jasmine rice. The lemon pepper is a great addition! Made for the Billboard recipe tag game.
