Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cut off tip of the FRESH chicken wings. Cut the wings in half. Set aside.
Step 2
Combine the oil with garlic salt, ginger and pepper. Rub on wings, then leave them marinate for at least 45 minutes.
Step 3
Heat cooking oil. Fry marinated wings until golden brown. Transfer cooked wings on a plate lined with paper towels to remove excess oil.
Step 4
Leave around 2 tbsp. of cooking oil in the pan and discard the rest.
Step 5
Add honey, chili sauce and calamansi juice into the oil. Put back fried chicken wings and cook until fully coated with the sauce.
