Step 1

Shake whiskey, calamansi, and honey well with cracked ice, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass filled with more ice. Garnish with a sliver of calamansi.

Wow! This was so good! I don't normally like whiskey cocktails but the Calamansi lime blended so well with it and it had just the right amount of sweetness. My DH who is whiskey drinker really enjoyed it too. Made for Culinary Quest 2016 by one of the Iota Eta Pi

This is a kick butt kind of drink! I was able to find real unsweetened calamansi juice. I made as written and it really highlighted the whiskey, so use good whiskey! I ended up adding a bit more honey. Thanks so much for posting it was a nice change from sweet cocktails.
