Step by Step Method

Step 1

In mixing bowl combine butter, flour and sugar, blend together. Press into a 9 x 9 pan, bake at 350 for 12 minutes. Remove from oven

Step 2

TOPPING spread raisins evenly over base.

Step 3

Combine beaten eggs, melted butter, brown sugar. flavouring, flour, and baking powder, mix well. Pour over raisins

Step 4

Bake in 350 oven for 20 minutes. Don't cut until they cool to room temperature

For the extreme sweet tooth! I used rum extract and like Bea said, it tasted like rum raisin candy. I did have some trouble dishing it up...the crust was a bit crumbly and the filling had to be scooped...it wasn't firm enough to cut into squares even though it was completely cooled...Maybe if I had put it into the refrigerator it would have. Made for the Billboard recipe tag game.

I am not much for baking so when I a find an easy recipe like this one that turns as good as this, I keep coming back to it. This will be seeing many repeats here. I used the rum extract option and it tasted like a rum raisin dessert, mm, mm good. This will definitely satisfy any sweet tooth. Made for the Billboard Recipe Tag Game.
