I am a novice at crusts of any kind. I started at 350, then when I put the strudel in, I raised the temp to 375. I think I probably should have left it alone. It was really good, though. Thanks, ellie!

I was concerned about the oven temp being low. Usually it bakes at 400F or 375F for a longer time. But I made as directed. And the puff pastry did not puff. Saying that DH really like it. I made two strudels and gifted one to a friend. I will be making this again with the higher temp. Loved that it was not too sweet, and used Gala apples.
