Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • BASE
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • TOPPING
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 2 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1/4 butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (or rum)
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

How to Make

  • Step 1: In mixing bowl combine butter, flour and sugar, blend together. Press into a 9 x 9 pan, bake at 350 for 12 minutes. Remove from oven

  • Step 2: TOPPING spread raisins evenly over base.

  • Step 3: Combine beaten eggs, melted butter, brown sugar. flavouring, flour, and baking powder, mix well. Pour over raisins

  • Step 4: Bake in 350 oven for 20 minutes. Don't cut until they cool to room temperature
