Step by Step Method
Step 1
Heat butter and oil.
Step 2
Add onions and shallots and saute until translucent.
Step 3
Season lightly.
Step 4
Add mushrooms and cook until browned.
Step 5
Add garlic cook a minute.
Step 6
Add beans, veggie stock, thyme, mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
Step 7
Simmer until thickened mashing beans a little.
Step 8
Add sour cream and buttermilk and cook at low simmer, don't boil.
Step 9
Season to taste.
