Buffalo Chicken Pizza

"I can never have enough of this pizza and since I like the flavor gilled then oven baked I always grill lots more chicken than I'm using for that meal and stick it in the freezer for this pizza. For a quick easy weeknight meal use a prebaked pizza crust and shredded chicken from your deli. Adapted from Taste of Home Grill It! magazine "

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450.

Step 2

In a small saucepan, combine tomato sauce, butter and Frank's Red Hot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and allow to simmer for approximately 15 minutes, or until sauce thickens slightly. Toss in the cooked chicken and heat through.

Step 3

Spread Ranch dressing over pizza crust and top with chicken mixture, cheese and onions. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.

No special items needed.



I scaled this recipe down one forth as I was making this for myself. I used a pita bread for my crust. Instead of using the ranch as the base sauce, I drizzled it over the top of the assembled pizza and this turned a bit messy but non the less tasty. Made for the Billboard Recipe Tag Game.

I tripled the batch and made 2 big pizzas. These were so delicious and eaten with glee by the crowd I had here over the long weekend. It was extra special cooked on the grill!

Awesome pizza! My friends and I made LindasBusyKitchen's Whole Wheat Pizza Crust and used it to make this pizza. I turned out so good. We loved the flavor of the pizza and ate the whole thing between the three of us. I finally found a pizza that I really love to make and that turns out so delicious!
