Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350º. Line 2 (16 x 8 inch) jellyroll pans with aluminum foil. Place lightly greased wire racks on top of the foil.
Step 2
Stir together the sugar and the pepper. Arrange the bacon in a single layer on the wire racks. Sprinkle with the sugar mixture.
Step 3
Bake at 350º for 30 to 35 minutes or until the bacon is crisp and lightly browned. Cool on the racks in the pans for 5 minutes.
