"I sometimes make this using half baby carrots for colour and texture variety, but it's excellent using either one individually. You can use low-fat cream cheese and reduced-fat milk if you're trying to cut down on fat, but it won't be as rich and creamy."

Step 1

Combine cream cheese, Parmesan, cream and butter in a microwave-safe bowl; microwave on high for 2 minutes and stir to mix well.

Step 2

Microwave broccoli for 5 minutes, or until warm; drain excess water.

Step 3

Stir seasonings into sauce; stir sauce into broccoli.

Step 4

Microwave broccoli mixture an additional 3-5 minutes, until hot.
