I had a half pound of flank steak in the freezer...there's just the two of us and it was the perfect amount...it ended up marinating for 2 days...yum...it was so tender and full of flavor...I used the honey and replaced the Tabasco sauce with a Habanaro sauce...and I added an extra dash or two...made for "FYC" and "B'Zazzled" tag games

This marinade produced a delicious steak. I was only able to marinate it for the minimum 8 hours. Thanks for sharing.

What a wonderfully flavored steak!! It is also so easy to put together and marinade. I made this as written although scaled back for one and my store didn't have any flank steak so I subbed a flat iron steak. As you can see in my photo, I basted it while cooking on the grilling in the first turns. Thanks for sharing another keeper Vic!! Congrats on another win in the football pool!!

I used sirloin steak instead of the flank because they were on sale, so why not. The steaks were so juicy, tender and yummy!

We don't have the outdoor grill set up yet, so I did this under the broiler. Great flavor in the marinade. After removing the meat, I boiled the marinade down to about half and served it as a sauce for rice. Will be making this again during grilling season.
