Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 1/2 cups beer
  • Green onions (1 bunch sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or molasses)
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger root
  • 2 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce (Tabasco sauce)
  • 2 1/2 pounds beef flank (steak, well trimmed)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine all ingredients except steak.

  • Step 2: Add steak and marinate several hours or overnight in the refrigerator.

  • Step 3: Drain and pat dry.

  • Step 4: Grill over hot coals 3 to 4 minutes on each side for medium rare.
