This flank steak marinade is delicious! We loved that the garlic flavor came through, (I did add a little extra, which I always do), and the ginger was subtle but was there in the flavor combination. Another winner, Vicki, we have the same tastes it seems! When I do flank steak I normally use a lot of thyme, but this is a refreshing change, and I will use this recipe often!

We loved the marinade! Normally, I only use flank steak for carne asada, and it uses beer too. But this Asian twist is very, very good! We loved the flavors and how tender the steak was. Instead of the outside grill, I used a cast iron grill pan on my gas stove. Perfectly seared and delicious! Thanks for sharing!

Very nice marinade indeed! It made our NY sirloin steak sing with all the marinade goodness. Because grilling season is just not a thing right now during winter, I started cooking the steak on a stovetop skillet and then finished it in the broiler, it worked like a charm, where the steak was cooked to perfection with a beautiful sear and tender interior. I also did increase the garlic and cooked the marinade down to serve with the steak. Came out wonderfully delicious. Thank you, Lazyme, for sharing. Made it for BEST OF 2024 as recommended by BreezerMom.

This marinade is great. I ended up with a hangar steak instead of a flank steak. Very good with the hangar steak!!

I had a half pound of flank steak in the freezer...there's just the two of us and it was the perfect amount...it ended up marinating for 2 days...yum...it was so tender and full of flavor...I used the honey and replaced the Tabasco sauce with a Habanaro sauce...and I added an extra dash or two...made for "FYC" and "B'Zazzled" tag games

This marinade produced a delicious steak. I was only able to marinate it for the minimum 8 hours. Thanks for sharing.
