"I used ingredients that I had in the fridge and came up with this tasty burger. I drained the tomatoes well but saved the oil and used it to grease the pan for frying the burger. I used my mini chopper to mince the tomatoes, garlic and peppers. It made it so easy. I used Frank's hot sauce. Tabasco is good too. Make 3 or 4 burgers, I like the size of 3 burgers. Use condiments of your choice, use salsa, mayo - even bacon whatever you like on your burgers. Note: hamburger buns not included in nutritional facts"

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix together with the beef the prepared sun dried tomatoes, chives, garlic and green pepper.

Step 2

Add the egg, crumbs, worchestershire sauce, hot sauce salt & pepper.

Step 3

Mix well but gently.

Step 4

Form into 3 or 4 half inch patties.

Step 5

Make an indentation in the top of each patty.

Step 6

Add olive oil (sundried tomato oil) to a heated heavy pan.

Step 7

Heat temperature should be medium high.

Step 8

Fry one side of the burgers for 4 minutes flip and continue frying until they are done to your liking - I find 4 minutes each side is just right.

Step 9

If you like butter your toasted bun.

Step 10

Add whatever condiments you enjoy.

Step 11

Enjoy.

I made this as instructed except for omitting the panko and they turned out perfectly juicy and delicious!! Another great Berger recipe by Bergy :)
