Beef Sun Burger
February 07, 2015
"I used ingredients that I had in the fridge and came up with this tasty burger. I drained the tomatoes well but saved the oil and used it to grease the pan for frying the burger. I used my mini chopper to mince the tomatoes, garlic and peppers. It made it so easy. I used Frank's hot sauce. Tabasco is good too. Make 3 or 4 burgers, I like the size of 3 burgers. Use condiments of your choice, use salsa, mayo - even bacon whatever you like on your burgers. Note: hamburger buns not included in nutritional facts"

Mix together with the beef the prepared sun dried tomatoes, chives, garlic and green pepper.
Add the egg, crumbs, worchestershire sauce, hot sauce salt & pepper.
Mix well but gently.
Form into 3 or 4 half inch patties.
Make an indentation in the top of each patty.
Add olive oil (sundried tomato oil) to a heated heavy pan.
Heat temperature should be medium high.
Fry one side of the burgers for 4 minutes flip and continue frying until they are done to your liking - I find 4 minutes each side is just right.
If you like butter your toasted bun.
Add whatever condiments you enjoy.
