"This is DH's favourite meatloaf."
Preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit.
Drain chopped mushrooms and reserve liquid.
Add enough milk to the mushroom liquid to make 1/2 cup.
In a mixing bowl, combine liquid, egg, Worcestershire sauce, seasonings and oatmeal or breadcrumbs; let stand for 5 minutes.
Add beef and chopped mushrooms; mix lightly but thoroughly.
Shape into a loaf in a 13x9x2-inch baking dish or a loaf pan.
Bake at 350 Fahrenheit for 1 hour.
Combine catsup and corn syrup; brush on meatloaf; bake an additional 15 minutes.
Garnish with mushroom crown topped with pimiento spirals, if desired.
