Step by Step Method
Step 1
In a skillet set on medium heat, place a slice of bread, buttered side down.
Step 2
Top with rice of cheese and 2 basil leaves, top with slice of bread, buttered side up.
Step 3
Cook until golden on one side, flip sandwich with a spatula and cook second slice until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Step 4
Repeat to made second sandwich.
Tips
- This can be made using a skillet on a stovetop or in an electric skillet set at 350 degrees F.
