  • When selecting the lettuce greens, choose a variety of colors and textures for the best flavor and presentation.
  • Make sure to use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor.

  • Substitute kale or spinach for the assorted lettuce greens. This provides a more nutrient-dense option with higher levels of vitamins and minerals.
  • Substitute walnuts for the croutons. This provides a crunchy texture and adds healthy fats, protein, and fiber to the salad.

Taco Caesar Salad Replace the bread cubes with taco shells, and the Parmesan cheese with shredded cheddar cheese. Replace the Worcestershire sauce with taco sauce.

Grilled Salmon with Lemon-Herb Sauce - This dish is a perfect complement to Barbara Bush's Caesar Salad as the light, flavorful sauce and the tender salmon will help to balance out the strong flavors of the salad. Plus, the added protein from the salmon will make the meal more filling and satisfying.

Roasted Asparagus with Parmesan: Roasted asparagus is a great side dish to accompany the grilled salmon and Caesar salad. The asparagus is light and flavorful, and the Parmesan adds a nice salty flavor. The roasted asparagus pairs nicely with the lemon-herb sauce and helps to round out the meal.
