Step by Step Method

Step 1

Heat oven to 350.

Step 2

Melt butter in a 8x8x2 square pan.

Step 3

Combine cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle over butter.

Peel bananas and slice into 1/2-inch slices, arrange evenly over sugar.

Step 5

Prepare cake mix as directed on package.

Step 6

Pour half of the batter evenly over banana slices (the remainder of the batter can be used to make a second cake, or however you see fit).

Step 7

Bake 35-40 min, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Step 8

Serve warm with whipped cream.
