  • 2 to 3 bananas, whole

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 350.

  • Step 2: Melt butter in a 8x8x2 square pan.

  • Step 3: Combine cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle over butter.

  • Step 4: Peel bananas and slice into 1/2-inch slices, arrange evenly over sugar.

  • Step 5: Prepare cake mix as directed on package.

  • Step 6: Pour half of the batter evenly over banana slices (the remainder of the batter can be used to make a second cake, or however you see fit).

  • Step 7: Bake 35-40 min, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

  • Step 8: Serve warm with whipped cream.
