"I tried this cake a while back at a popular recipe site called Recipezaar, it is by a member with the screen name of The Wallaces. DH requests this cake quite often so I thought I would bring this recipe here for others to enjoy."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step 2
Combine sugar, banana, and oil.
Step 3
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Step 4
In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and spices.
Step 5
Add to banana mixture and mix well.
Step 6
Stir in carrots and oats; mix well.
Step 7
Spread in greased 9x9 inch baking pan. Sprinkle with nuts.
Step 8
Bake at 350F for 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
