Step 1

Salt and pepper pork chops to taste. In a large skillet melt butter then add seasoned pork chops. Fry chops until nicely browned on both sides.

Step 2

In a small bowl whisk together the vinegar, sugar and water. Pour the mixture over the pork chops and bring to a boil. Lower heat and gently simmer for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until chops are tender. Add the sour cream and heat but do not let boil.

Great chops, we all enjoyed. Being pressed for kitchen time I simmered the chops in the oven making for very tender chops as well as a perfect sauce for the sour cream ... loved the addition of the sour cream. Thank you for sharing!

We really enjoyed these pork chops. Fast and easy to put together. My chops only took 35 minutes to cook. The only thing I will change next time is that when the chops are done, I will remove them from the pan and thicken the juice before adding the sour cream. When I took the pic, I spooned some of the juice over, but it ran right off, and it did not show in the pic. Thank you for sharing! Made for Pick Me Recipe Tag.
