Step 1: Salt and pepper pork chops to taste. In a large skillet melt butter then add seasoned pork chops. Fry chops until nicely browned on both sides.
Step 2: In a small bowl whisk together the vinegar, sugar and water. Pour the mixture over the pork chops and bring to a boil. Lower heat and gently simmer for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until chops are tender. Add the sour cream and heat but do not let boil.
