Step 1

Take the skin off of the drumsticks and discard.

Step 2

Mix together the Montreal steak spice and garlic and rub it over the drumsticks.

Step 3

Wrap two slices of bacon around each drumstick and wrap them individually and tightly with a double layer of foil.

Step 4

Place these on a baking sheet and cook in a pre-heated 425 degree Fahrenheit oven for 30 minutes turning them half way through.

Step 5

Carefully unwrap the chicken, if you want the bacon crispier you can place them under the broiler for a couple of minutes until as crispy as you like.

I made a large package of chicken legs and tripled the recipe to feed us all. They were great and my family asked me to save this one to our favorites. The chicken was moist and so tasty!

I doubled the recipe so there would be leftovers. My kids ate the first drumstick and immediately grabbed another one. They loved them so we will be having them again!

Delish!! DH was able to find a package of 6 drumsticks that were skinless, so this was a snap to put together and with items we always have on hand. We decided to cook these on the grill, as we have been making grilled bacon-wrapped chicken breast for years, but we never have added any seasonings. They turned out perfect and very moist and flavorful with the added spices. We went ahead and seasoned and wrapped all six pieces but froze 3 of them for another meal for us. We ate them with twice baked potatoes and corn on the cob. Thanks so much for sharing the recipe.
