Step by Step Method

Step 1

Heat the oil in a medium saucepan then add the onion and pecans - cook over medium high fort 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Step 2

Add the rice and mix well - stir in the stock, salt, pepper and bring to a boil.

Step 3

Reduce heat to low and cover - cook for 18-20 minutes until until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.

Step 4

Fluff rice with a fork and serve.
