Step 1: Heat the oil in a medium saucepan then add the onion and pecans - cook over medium high fort 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Step 3: Reduce heat to low and cover - cook for 18-20 minutes until until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
Step 4: Fluff rice with a fork and serve.
