Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/3 cup chopped yellow onion
  • 1/3 cup pecans, chopped (1/2" pieces)
  • 200 grams dry Arborio Rice (dry, 1 cup)
  • 1 3/4 cup chicken stock
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat the oil in a medium saucepan then add the onion and pecans - cook over medium high fort 1 minute, stirring constantly.

  • Step 2: Add the rice and mix well - stir in the stock, salt, pepper and bring to a boil.

  • Step 3: Reduce heat to low and cover - cook for 18-20 minutes until until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.

  • Step 4: Fluff rice with a fork and serve.
