Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2

Beat the cream cheese with mixer, add sugar and beat carefully, add egg and continue beating until all ingredients are incorporated.

Step 3

Add vanilla and spread mixture in pie shell.

Step 4

Gently spread apple pie filling over cream cheese mixture.

Step 5

Sprinkle oatmeal over top of apple filling.

Step 6

Bake until firm, 50 to 60 min.

Step 7

Top with whipped cream just before serving. (Optional)
