Step by Step Method
Step 1
Place apples in a large pot. Cover with vinegar and sugar, mix well. Cook over medium-low heat until apples are tender, 40-45 minutes.
Step 2
Grate lemon rinds, then juice the lemons. Add both along with remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring continuously.
Step 3
Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 30 minutes. Pour into jars and seal.
