Step by Step Method

Step 1
Dice the bacon and fry in pan.

Step 2
When about 1/2 way done, add the onion.

Step 3
Pour off most of the grease.

Step 4
Add the rest of the ingredients, stir well and cover.

Step 5
Let this simmer for at least 30 minutes.

Step 6
It is better when simmered for 2 hours, even better when baked. it gets thicker as it cools
