How to Make

  • Step 1: Dice the bacon and fry in pan.

  • Step 2: When about 1/2 way done, add the onion.

  • Step 3: Pour off most of the grease.

  • Step 4: Add the rest of the ingredients, stir well and cover.

  • Step 5: Let this simmer for at least 30 minutes.

  • Step 6: It is better when simmered for 2 hours, even better when baked. it gets thicker as it cools
