Step by Step Method

PreHeat oven to 350 degrees F

Step 2

Pam spray 9x13 casserole

Step 3

Mix wet ingredients together in large measuring cup

Step 4

Mix dry ingredients together with whisk

Step 5

Season chicken to taste

Step 6

Dredge in flour mixture

Step 7

Place in casserole

Step 8

Pour wet mixture around the chicken bake 60 minutes until chicken is browned and crispy on top and gravy is thick

Check seasoning and season to taste

Comfort food! The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was really yummy served over the chicken and some mashed potatoes. I had more than called for chicken, so made two pans of the chicken & sauce - one with the heavy cream/water combo & one with all half-and-half. There was actually a big difference and we definitely preferred the heavy cream/water gravy best! Thank you!
