"Perfect over chicken, turkey, cornish hens, pork, lamb, vegetables, and even baked spuds. It is creamy and full of flavor and easy to prepare. If you want to serve this over steak; simply substitute the chicken broth for beef broth Also, You can change up the flavor by adding a little dijon mustard; or using sherry vs white wine."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Base ... Add the shallot to a small pot along with the butter and dried herbs and bring to medium heat. Cook just a minute until the butter has melted. Then add the flour and stir until well combined. Make sure to cook another minute to get rid of the 'raw' flour taste.
Step 2
Finish ... Slowly add the wine and chicken broth, whisking constantly until well combined. Continue to cook another minute until the gravy has thickened. Remove from the heat and stir in the yogurt and parsley.
Step 3
Serve ... Over any of your favorite proteins. As I mentioned above; try adding a little mustard; or use sherry vs white wine for a bit different taste. Have fun with this easy basic recipe. ENJOY!
