Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried savory
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh parsley, chopped fine
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Base ... Add the shallot to a small pot along with the butter and dried herbs and bring to medium heat. Cook just a minute until the butter has melted. Then add the flour and stir until well combined. Make sure to cook another minute to get rid of the 'raw' flour taste.

  • Step 2: Finish ... Slowly add the wine and chicken broth, whisking constantly until well combined. Continue to cook another minute until the gravy has thickened. Remove from the heat and stir in the yogurt and parsley.

  • Step 3: Serve ... Over any of your favorite proteins. As I mentioned above; try adding a little mustard; or use sherry vs white wine for a bit different taste. Have fun with this easy basic recipe. ENJOY!
