"Source for this recipe is from an old Country Inns of America Cookbook. For avocado lovers, this will be a delight. The dressing pares very well with the avocado and in particular it goes well with a wedge salad as well."

I liked this a lot!! DH isn't crazy about avocado, so I gave him mostly lettuce! We really liked the dressing - it made enough for another day of salads - yay!

This made for a tasty salad, the avocado really adds to it. I did use the optional cayenne (and omitted the sugar - personal preference). Next time I will halve the celery seed. You have quite a collection of good salads!

Bergy (RIP" Forever in our Kitchen)

Zippy tasty dressing! I used 1/4 Tsp Cayenne. Made in a minute kept in the fridge and gave it the suggested shake. Enjoyed and will be making it again

What a delicious salad...I cut the recipe in half for just me...the dressing is to die for...if you love avocado's you have to try this...the only negative is that it's gone to quick...made for "Pick Me" tag game...

Winner! Made as posted for a family supper, the dressing so good I have since used it over mixed salad greens & spinach – been great over any of the mixed salads I've made as well. So good it has already seen to reruns as well as being added to my salad dressing collection.
