Step by Step Method
Step 1
Cook pasta in heavily salted boiling water until al dente, drain.
Step 2
In stock pot, sauté Italian sausage, onions and garlic.
Step 3
Season lightly.
Step 4
Add white beans, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, oregano and parsley.
Step 5
Simmer for 30 minutes.
Step 6
Stir in cooked and drained ditalini.
Step 7
Simmer 10 minutes more.
Step 8
Add Parmesan cheese off heat.
Step 9
Season to taste.
