Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a medium bowl, combine syrup, small jar of topping, eggs, sugar and butter in order and beat by hand or at low speed with an electric mixer.

Stir in pecan halves.

Transfer to unbaked pie shell.
Step 5
Bake in preheated oven 35 to 45 minutes

The top will be browned but center will be jiggly.
Step 7
Cool.
Step 8
Then top with whipped cream and chopped pecans
