  • 12 ounces caramel ice cream topping (1 jar)
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 1/2 cups pecan halves
  • 9 ounces unbaked 9-inch pie shell (1 shell)

  • 8 ounces whipping cream, whipped
  • 1/3 cup pecans, chopped

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • Step 2: In a medium bowl, combine syrup, small jar of topping, eggs, sugar and butter in order and beat by hand or at low speed with an electric mixer.

  • Step 3: Stir in pecan halves.

  • Step 4: Transfer to unbaked pie shell.

  • Step 5: Bake in preheated oven 35 to 45 minutes

  • Step 6: The top will be browned but center will be jiggly.

  • Step 7: Cool.

  • Step 8: Then top with whipped cream and chopped pecans
