Step by Step Method

Step 1

Prepare grill to medium heat.

Step 2

Fold a 36 x 18 inch piece of foil in half to make an 18 inch square.

Step 3

In the center of the foil place the vegetables (carrots - green onions) and top with the hoisin sauce.

Step 4

Double fold the opposite edges of the foil, leaving a bit of space so veggies can breathe and then fold the edges to seal.

Step 5

Grill packet on prepared covered grill for 10 minutes or until vegetables are crisp tender. Open carefully and if desired sprinkle with sesame seeds and/or crushed red pepper flakes.

Like the other reviewer, I also used my oven. I used baby carrots instead of regular ones. I still sliced them the way the recipe said to. I intended to use the sesame seeds, but got too busy to do so. I believe I left mine in the oven for about 45 minutes. My husband thinks this would be great with peanuts cooked in with everything. Thanks, ellie.

I scaled back for one serve and popped it in the oven for 10 minutes to cook with my chicken and potato and thoroughly enjoyed this so easy and tasty veggie side dish. Thank you ellie, made for Alphabet Tag Game at FF&F.
