Step by Step Method

Step 1

Cook tortellini according to package directions; drain then transfer to a bowl and toss with a small amount of oil or butter to prevent sticking.

Step 2

In a skillet cook bacon until crisp; remove and crumble (remove some of the bacon grease leaving 1-2 tablespoons in the skillet to saute the garlic).

Step 3

Add the garlic to the skillet; saute 1-2 minutes; add in the cream, Parmesan cheese, parsley and cooked bacon; cook for 2 minutes until heated through.

Step 4

Add in the tortellini; toss until heated through then season with more salt and pepper, serve immediately.

I scaled back for 1 serve and used a veal and cheddar cheese tortellini, otherwise made as per recipe and thoroughly enjoyed, thank you Kittencal, made for Alphabet Soup Tag Game.
